Quirky Kid offers practical early childhood workshops for educators, centre leaders and parent communities supporting children aged 12 months to 5 years. Sessions can be delivered online or in person and focus on strategies that participants can adapt to everyday early learning and family settings.
Topics can be tailored to your centre’s priorities, including emotional regulation, positive behaviour support, separation anxiety, school readiness and collaborative approaches between educators and families. This focus reflects the importance of responsive relationships, self-regulation and family partnerships within Australian early childhood practice.

The workshops are designed for early childhood educators, centre leaders and parent or carer communities supporting children aged 12 months to 5 years. The audience and examples can be adapted for an educator team, a parent group or a combined session.
What topics can an early childhood workshop cover?
Topics may include emotional regulation, positive behaviour support, separation anxiety, school readiness, gifted development and practical ways for educators and families to use consistent approaches. The final topic and learning focus are agreed with the centre before the session.
Can the workshop be tailored to our centre?
Yes. The initial discussion is used to clarify your audience, priorities and preferred format. Workshops provide general education and practical strategies. They are not a substitute for an individual psychological assessment or personalised treatment.

A 1.5-hour presentation followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session for parents and carers. The session includes practical examples and resources that families can consider at home.
