We are delighted to introduce Sarah Gibson, a registered psychologist working with couples and adolescents. With over two decades of experience, Sarah brings a compassionate approach to our practice, enhancing our ability to support the whole family system.

Through our years of supporting children and young people at Quirky Kid, we've observed how challenges facing one or both parents often ripple through the entire family system. Many families are navigating complex situations - from relationship strain to separation, from court proceedings to co-parenting challenges. These experiences can be overwhelming, particularly when trying to maintain stability for children during uncertain times.

Sarah's warm and collaborative approach perfectly complements Quirky Kid's existing services. While our team of child psychologists continues to support children's wellbeing, Sarah works with parents and couples facing relationship difficulties, separation, or divorce. She provides evidence-based strategies to manage stress, improve communication, and develop effective co-parenting arrangements.

A Complete Approach to Family Wellbeing

Sarah's inclusion means families already engaged with us at Quirky Kid can now benefit from a more comprehensive care model. While children continue to benefit from our established support programs, parents and caregivers can now find the guidance they need for their personal journeys, all under one roof.

Sarah draws on established therapeutic frameworks, including CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, and Gottman methods. Her approach is compassionate and grounded in trauma- and neurodiversity-informed practice, helping clients build practical strategies for lasting positive change.

We often meet parents seeking support for their child while managing their own challenges—whether that's anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or life transitions. With Sarah on our team, we now offer parallel support: children can continue their journey with our child psychologists while parents access individual or couple support. This integrated approach helps families feel understood and supported.
