Suzan Odemis

Registered Psychologist

Suzan is a warm and dedicated Registered Psychologist who is passionate about supporting children and adolescents to thrive. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Western Sydney University and has developed her clinical skills across a range of settings, including schools and NDIS-funded environments.

Suzan’s approach is client-centred, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate. She values working collaboratively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic and meaningful support to the young people in her care.

She has experience addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, behavioural challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and learning differences. Her therapeutic work draws from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), play-based therapy, and social skills training, which she adapts to suit each child’s unique needs.

Suzan also brings extensive experience in supporting young people with comorbid presentations, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and intellectual disabilities. She is committed to helping her clients build resilience and confidence through compassionate, consistent, and developmentally informed care.Outside the clinic, Suzan is an active contributor to her community through a number of board and volunteer roles, and she continually engages in professional development to enrich her practice.

Qualifications

Suzan holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) Western Sydney University

She is registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA in Australia  and holds a Working With Children Check.

Other Details

Susan works from our Wollongong Clinic and with Clients online on Wednesdays and Thursdays
