


Provisional Psychologist
Baylie is a compassionate and dedicated Provisional Psychologist committed to supporting the emotional well-being and development of children, adolescents, and families. Drawing on over eight years of experience in caring and support roles, Baylie has worked across educational, clinical, and community settings with individuals presenting with diverse psychological, physical, and cognitive needs.
Baylie has developed a strong interest in neurodivergence, developmental psychology, and family systems, and she is passionate about applying evidence-based and creative approaches to help children and young people thrive. Her therapeutic style is grounded in empathy, inclusivity, and cultural humility, with a focus on collaboration and building safe, supportive relationships.
Prior to joining Quirky Kid, Baylie worked in both educational and clinical environments, including placements at Headspace Shellharbour and Northfields Psychology Clinic, where she conducted cognitive and psychosocial assessments, developed safety plans, and provided interim therapeutic support to young people and their families. She also worked within local schools supporting children with diverse learning and behavioural needs, collaborating with teachers and allied health professionals to design and implement behavioural and emotional support plans.
At Quirky Kid, Baylie is passionate about creating a safe and engaging therapeutic space for young people to explore their emotions, strengthen their resilience, and build meaningful connections. She brings warmth, curiosity, and creativity to her work with every client and family.
Baylie holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Wollongong and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) from Monash University. She is currently completing her Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Wollongong. Baylie maintains provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and is a student member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Baylie is a provisional psychologist who works under the supervision of Dr Kimberley O’Brien and Bridget Tegg
Baylie consults on every Tuesday and Thursday at the Austinmer clinic or online
