Chelsie Priestley

Provisional Psychologist

Chelsie has recently joined our team as a Provisional Psychologist at the Quirky Kid clinics in Sydney and Wollongong. Chelsie is passionate about supporting children and adolescents to overcome challenges and become their best selves.

Chelsie has several years of experience working with children in different settings. She started nannying at the age of 14 and from this grew a love of supporting children. Having previously worked as an Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapist, she has extensive experience working with children presenting with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She has also worked as a disability support worker, assisting children and adolescents to do the things they love out in the community, such as attending gymnastics classes. Supported by a government scholarship, Chelsie previously lived in Cambodia where she completed an internship with Hagar International  working with children experiencing trauma.

Chelsie has received training in the administration, scoring and interpretation of psychometric assessments. She provides high-quality, evidence-based, client-focused psychological services to support clients and their families to achieve their goals. She loves arts and crafts and enjoys getting creative in her sessions.

Outside of work, Chelsie enjoys getting out of the city to go hiking and camping. Closer to home, she can often be found in the yoga studio or bouldering gym.
