It was created to improve early access to child and family mental health support and reduce barriers related to location and service availability. BriteChild supports children, teenagers and young adults aged 0 to 21, as well as parents and carers. Current services include: - 50-minute video consultations with Australian-registered psychologists. - Membership access for questions between sessions. - Reduced consultation fees for members. - Monthly live parent webinars. - Practical digital guidance and resources. BriteChild is designed for families in Australia and worldwide. Clinical video consultations are delivered by Australian-registered psychologists. In Australia, Medicare rebates may be available for eligible consultations when the client has a valid referral and the service and psychologist meet Medicare requirements. Quirky Kid does not bulk bill. BriteChild is part of an NDIS-registered provider, but access depends on the participant's plan, funding, goals, service eligibility and current capacity. Medicare and NDIS arrangements do not apply to every user, service or country. - [Current BriteChild service information](https://britechild.com/): Membership, consultations, webinars and access information. - [Quirky Kid's BriteChild overview](https://www.childpsychologist.com.au/for-parents/telehealth): Relationship between Quirky Kid and BriteChild. ## Australian Government and impact-investment support Quirky Kid and BriteChild have received project-based support through two separate Australian Government-linked grant programs. ### 2019 Impact Investment Ready Growth Grant In 2019, Quirky Kid received a $130,000 grant through the Australian Government Department of Social Services Sector Readiness Fund, administered through Impact Investing Australia's Impact Investment Ready Growth Grant program. The grant enabled Quirky Kid to engage Social Impact Hub for impact measurement, business and investment-readiness work, including preparation for a potential capital raise. This was a capacity-building grant. It was not an equity investment and does not establish that Quirky Kid subsequently received impact investment.
